As we leave Black History Month, it is my prayer that we will remember how incredibly resilient, clear, strong and determined we are as a people to unfold our purpose on this earth. Black people have been and many still are, suffering from treatment that is well below the consciousness of a civilized world. Yet, we never give up. We never stop seeing the possibilities that lie ahead for all of us, no matter what color we are.
That is what I want for each child, no matter where they are, what they believe in, or who their parents are. I want them to have a chance to unfold their greatness, and allow their compassionate spirit to uplift all. That is the charge and commitment that Y.O.G.A. for Youth has held without discrimination for twenty plus years and continues to deliver no matter what.
Your support is needed as the mental issues continue to plague and discourage our kids. We welcome your heartfelt prayers and your enthusiastic support knowing it still takes a village, and you are deeply welcomed and urged to be a part of this opportunity.
