Assistant Teacher Emily Silverman reflects on the experience at Chatham Middle School:
“We met a total of 19 girls, and many came to more than half of the classes. Several attended every one!
For our last class, we did a “pose potluck” as suggested by Kim. Each participant selected her favorite yoga pose, and we all did it, in a mini-flow of poses. Of course, savasana was selected first! But we agreed that that one “didn’t count.” It was fun to see what they suggested. Near the end of our time, I asked the girls if they would, in a word or two, say something that stood out for them about the yoga classes or how they felt about them.
I am going to miss these girls!
